Yes. The beeping is extremely inconvenient. It is almost like it is waiting for a time longer than one would normally brew tea, and when I touch it, it makes a disapproving noise.

I wonder if you need to build up more skill points in something tea-related. Oh, or have you tried just putting more and more tea leaves into it? Maybe it needs a set number of them before it'll complete the process. Or maybe it's a recipe minigame and it's waiting for another key ingredient?

Oh. I understand. Are you saying that this is like one of those games you can play on your phone? I do not think I am able to allocate any points, as I have not seen any lie around.

... if the recipe is boiling water to make tea, how could I mess that up... ?!

I don't know. It's possible that the programmer didn't actually know that much about tea, or wanted to make the sequence more involved...

I guess it's also possible there's no way to make tea at all within this version of reality.

Jamie. I do not like this reality any more. I want to return to the one where I can make my drinks, for myself or for others, and sell them at a reasonable price while also making a small profit so I can pay whoever works that week.

And then I can buy myself a little bag of cinnamon hearts.

I honestly don't know. When I was Hanatarou Nito, I didn't have her at all, but as soon as I went back to being Jamie, there both of her were.
And I got Minato back, too, but he'd lost Retrospec, so he didn't have any insight to share...
... and now he's gone again, of course...

I am glad that you got to have him again, even briefly.
Despite him being gone again, your memories will not be lost to you.
Even if we are destined to come in and out as the application dictates.

Do you want me to come get you? Technically my scooter only seats one, but its hitbox is kind of weird and oversized, so I'm pretty sure we could both fit on it.
