Do you want me to come get you? Technically my scooter only seats one, but its hitbox is kind of weird and oversized, so I'm pretty sure we could both fit on it.

That does not sound very safe, but if you believe that we can occupy that space, I suppose it could be fine.

Well, like, a 3-D object in a game might look like it's a certain size, but it could actually be bigger or smaller in actual gameplay? And you can tell with stuff like, where the character's feet actually go when they're walking up a staircase or something...
It might be hard to explain.

But anyway I'll be right there!

[ and he'll be right there! Riding a kind of jpeg sprite of his scooter that always appears to be directly straight on, perfectly sideways, or at a three-quarters angle. and when the viewer's vantage point changes enough that one of those other views is closer to being right, the sprite instantly transforms.

Also depending on the viewer's vantage point, Jamie might appear to be sitting properly on the seat or floating a few inches above or to the side of it. ]

[ simply put, because he doesn't? hello??? it's probably easier for him to see it to believe it, as Jamie pulls up to the cafe and Leon carefully makes his way out the door without accidentally triggering any kind of RE-style door opening in 8-bit or something i guess ]
